The Deck is a convenience store, Post Office and licensed cafe all wrapped into one friendly building located in the heart of Blandford, right by the ocean. Annie and her assistants Nancy Young and Laura Gates, cook delicious meals as you watch. The menu includes breakfasts, and home made soups and chowders - including Annie's renowned seafood chowder. There is a mid-day special which ranges from pan-fried haddock or scallops, to a variety of meat and fish dishes. Hamburgers and a range of sandwiches, hot or cold, are also available. Annie and her staff make delicious pies for dessert, and cookies to go with your coffee. Bring a good appetite, for the servings are generous. The Deck is a favourite meeting place for people on the Aspotogan Peninsula. During the summer months travellers from around the world also visit The Deck as they explore this beautiful area.
